Jared N8CZ:

For the activation I'll be working Phone and Digital modes FT8/FT4.
I am a CNC lab technician at GVSU and Electrical Engineering student.
Throughout my life I have always been adventurous, so when I heard about this trip, I jumped on it without hesitation. It is an honor to help bring attention to this historic lighthouse.

Greg KN4CK:

I'll be on HF Phone
I've always wanted to go on an expedition and jumped on the opportunity to be a part of this.
I enjoy building antennas, contesting, and spending way too much time researching something.

Dan N8PPQ:

I'm a 67 year old C# developer.
I'll be on HF Phone and CW.
This is the most extreme special event I've been on. I'm glad to be with a strong team.

Nick AC8CQ:

I am an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Grand Valley State University and the station trustee and faculty advisor for W8GVU. For the activation, I plan to help troubleshoot as needed and work phone and digital modes.
I have always been a sucker for a good adventure and have never passed up a chance to tour a lighthouse when I travel. Needless to say, my interest was piqued when I heard about this opportunity to activate Stannard Rock. This is a unique lighthouse with a lot of history. I look forward to coming back with some good stories and close friendships.

Matt Crehan:

Greetings to everyone!
I've known Dan Mills for almost ten years, so when I received his call to participate in the Stannard Lighthouse Journey, of course I jumped at the chance. Being in the real estate business for over 40 years, any type of property, usual and unusual, is always of interest to me. And if Dan is involved, then the element of adventure will always be present! Our trip to the UP this past Saturday laid the groundwork for all the equipment necessary for a successful weekend. Looking forward to this unique opportunity!
